    I have completed a site & now found 2 glitches in ie….hoping someone can help me solve them…

    Cinema Site

    1. film strip does not show up in background
    2.characters before & after in bottom menu

    The background should be working now….any ideas on the :before & :after ?

    The ie problem only occurs when the site runs in compatibility mode….Any idea how to make that not available?

    Unless I am very much mistaken before and after are not compatible with IE versions before IE 8.

    You should try the following meta tag

    However users of older versions of IE will still see the problems

    Is there a way to add extra padding around it for those using older browsers?
