Problem in changing background-color of .portfolio class

Why the background-color of Portfolio is not getting change on my sublime? but its getting changed on inspecting in chrome also changing in code pen…Got confused why its not changing when I edit on my editor…

Can u able to see my code saved on codepen in the below link? if so please help me out…
