Home › Forums › JavaScript › Possible to make Flash banner in Jquery?
http://activetuts.s3.amazonaws.com/freebies/003_pieceMaker/piecemaker/index.html
The above link is a very nice piece of Flash animation that I would love to make into jQuery. I know that just about anything is possible using jQuery. I think if it is possible, it might require the jQuery image cube or maybe just something custom from the ground up. Sound off if you think it is possible and if so, what kind of lag/quality would it result in?
Thanks!
It looks pretty much like this:

Look at example 1, 5 and 6.
Note that it doesn’t work in FF and IE.
That is fantastic. However it is limited to Chrome & Safari. I should have said it in the original post but we would like to have it work in each browser (IE, Firefox, Chrome & Safari). Any other suggestions?
Check out Chop Slider.. it’s an awesome jQuery/css3 slider plugin… sadly it isn’t completely free, but it does what that flash banner does, and a lot more! CSS3 is awesome.
This one is very helpful. It not being free is not a concern. Thank you all very much for your help in discovering a better way to get this done than outsourcing to India (even tho it was probably built in India) :)
