Possible CSS solution for forcing links to new default colors?

Hello fellow CSSers!

I’m creating an epub and I’d like to my links to be defaulted to black underlines instead of the ugly bright blue ones.

Now, I used Word 2016 to format my book and then used Calibre and Sigil to make final tweaks to my CSS.

In these programs my links are defaulting to black like I specified.

What I’m wondering is if it’s possible to use CSS to setup new default colors with black links for when an ereader is using white paper, and white underlined links for when a book is in night time black background.
