Popup window that displays when you hover over some text

Hi all

Can anybody recommend a neat solution that provides a popup window when you hover over some text. In the popup I want to display an image and a few lines of text.

Do you mean the preview image that appears from the text?

I think what you are after is a tootip rather than a pop-up.

Paulie_D – this is exactly what I mean and the link you provided is perfect! This is exactly what I want, however, it doesn’t seem to work with IE8 or IE9…
Any suggestions on what I can try and alter?

In IE8 and IE9 the content in the popup appears on the page (i.e. it’s not hidden)
