Hey I’m a budding web designer who knows X/HTML and CSS to the MAX. I know everything there is to know about all of it.

In addition to this I’d love to know PHP, MySQL and other thing, I’m not sure weather its JavaScript or Jquery that make things fade etc but would love to know them.

I want to do a crash course over the summer, so i’d like to know the best places for each thing. Not w3school i’ve tried it but not found it very helpful.

For PHP, take a look at phpvideotutorials.com or killerphp.com — two sources I’ve used in the past. KillerPHP also has some mySQL tutorials, though most of what I know has come from the MySQL section on Tizag.com, w3schools, or personal experimentation.

I haven’t started these tutorials yet, but NetTuts has a 16 part PHP video series (http://blog.themeforest.net/?s=diving+into+php+day) and I believe they have mysql tutorials as well (search on nettuts.com).

Hopefully that will help you get started. :)
