If I see a php.dat file in the cgi-bin folder, my assumption is that it’s used as a way to run php on the server?
I’m trying to understand how this hosting company I’m using for a client is running their wordpress setup. I used their wordpress install option and all is well. But when I try to manually install wordpress in a different subfolder using a different database name, it doesn’t recognize the install page. So my assumption is that it can’t run the php page because php is not installed?
