I am currently working on a layout in Photoshop and I have another psd of a table design that I’m going to incorporate into the layout. So I have both files open in Photoshop…thats 2 tabs. I can’t seem to select the table group in the one file and drag into my other design. It’s weird and I wasn’t sure if you knew what was going on. I have never had trouble before with moving files around between different psd files. I have tried other random files and they drag over fine, but with this file…it just doesn’t seem to want to move. Any suggestions?

Ah yes, this took me a while to figure out the best way to accomplish.

What I used to do is temporarily turn tabbing off, then have the windows floating, transfer the layers, then turn tabbing back on. I could keep tabbing off permanently, but I like what it looks like.

However, I only just recently found the "Arrange Documents" button found here:

Just select "2 Up" and transfer your layers, then switch back!
