passing JS variables to shopping cart

I’ve been trying to use the CSSTricks Seminar Registration example for my client’s conference registration. PHP is not installed on their proprietary server, only ASP. They also have their own shopping cart, which I have not been able to pass variables into. I’m also trying to make the price a different value depending on which rate they select.

I’m really puzzled as to what/where the problem is, so I feel a bit sheepish posting such a broad question.
