    Hey there,

Okay I am going to get a handful of information I know out of the way. I know that this could simply be an issue with webkit. I am almost certain this has nothing to do with viewport size. Using pixels, em, rem, percentages for anything does not fix the problem. I am looking for a css work around, and do not want to add more elements to the page.

    Now the issue:
For some reason in webkit browsers when I zoom out below 80% padding refuses to scale down… I can’t figure out why.

    Here is the code:

CodePen does not seem to want to help in showing the issue so best things is strip the code out and view it in Chrome then Firefox to see the difference.

I have been fighting this for a couple weeks now and am dedicated to understand why this happens and how to fix/work around it.

    Thanks for any help!
