for some reason that I cannot understand, internet explorer will not function correctly on my padding on my input. I have an input background that is 255px wide. I need the text to stop at 200px. So I adding 55px padding to the right side, and then shortened the width of the input to 200px. Firefox displays it perfectly but I.E seems to be ignoring the padding. What am I missing?
