I am not very good at CSS yet. I am trying to change a web page to suit our needs. The guy who created it started with someone else’s template;
https://html5up.net/twenty
There are parts of the page I am not fond of. He has buttons to go to outside pages, we need about six. They have large graphics and only two across. I want smaller graphics and four across. I tried to put the HTML and CSS that I think is relevant. The whole thing is too much to post. My problem is he has Wrapper, Container etc. all over the place and I am not sure which count. I put the sections in the order they appear. There are duplicates. I find this confusing. It is at codepen, link below which I hope works.
I probably didn’t copy everything needed. I am not sure what is needed. How can I change it from two to four icons per row? I have played with it and I just mess it up.
thanks
Lee
I would like to encourage you to just keep working at it, though I’m not sure tweaking a theme on an existing site is the best place to learn CSS. Better work on smaller projects while reading up on things (HTML CSS). Good luck though.
Yeah, I think starting over from scratch is the best way. That existing CSS does not seem to be very good.
