Hi I’m Robert Nash and i have created a new web community website with tutorials, articles and resources related to web design, similar to css-tricks.

Why not check it out? I would like to hear your thoughts.

    The website is

“There are lots of web community websites out there at the moment that provide tutorials and articles in order to help designers improve their skills and I want to be a part of that.”

A word of advice on how to create a successful site, change “I want to be a part of that” to “I want to fill a unique niche that has been neglected” or “I want to build on it and provide something new to users”.

Also, using a theme purchased from Themeforest isn’t exactly showing off your skills as a designer!

    A few tips though:

    1. Make SEO friendly URLs – this:, doesn’t mean anything to me or Google.

    2. You have broken images in your sidebar.

    3. Avoid posts like 30 most inspirational whatevers. At the end of the day, they are just filler.

It’s a really tough market to break into, especially because, as you mentioned, it is already flooded with people trying to make a quick buck.

If you focus on outstanding quality tutorials, you’ll do well. Submit tutorials to places like Nettuts or PSDtuts for traffic back to you.

    Best of luck!

Thanks for your advice it will be a great help
