    Guys is that possible to track no of users visiting the site? using only html , xml, javascript or jquery.

    …but honestly, no visitor cares how many times your site has been seen..only you.

    By all means use the statistics but it’s really not necessary to show them to everyone.

    I guess there are edge cases where people want to see the stats, just like people need the youtube view counter, however please don’t try to bring back the old 1990’s page-counter fad ;)

    I do the same on youtube. I also read comments almost all of the time to determine the likelihood if it’s genuine.

    But, without knowing what this person is using the view counter for it’s hard to say whether it should be displayed or not.
