I have come across some kind of font smoothing and I can’t figure out how it’s being done. The interesting part is that when the site is loaded via frameset, the fonts are antialiased. But when loaded outside of the frameset, the fonts are crisp.

    See here(loaded in frameset)

    Loaded outside of frameset

The left menu, for example, you can clearly see that when the site is loaded via frameset, the text is antialiased and that’s the effect I’m looking for.

I inspected the text in Chrome’s dev tools and there’s nothing there that could explain how it’s being done. Also it wouldn’t make much sense since both CSS are the same.
