I have a table that I’m using for a shopping basket on a website. It all works pretty well but as soon as I’ve added a tfoot the tbody (or the cells within it) won’t span the width of the container.

I’m pretty certain the problem is to do with the tfoot but I can’t find out what. I thought it was something to do with colspan not working on mobile as I’d hidden one of the cells in the body (so it was uneven) but that didn’t do anything.

    Here’s my example:

I’m guessing it’s because the rows/cells within the tbody are set to block but I wanted to check if this should still work and I’m just missing something. Or will I need to set the tfoot elements to display: block and set widths/float them to get the alignment I’m after?
