Mobile background not playing ball

Hi all, wondering if anyone would be so kind as to help me out, I have been playing with it for days :(

Basically in my joomla template I’m trying to change the background in iphone view to an image.

The css is located in iphone.css and is as follows:

The last bit with the background was what I added and it does show but there seems to be some sort of image over it..

Originally the background was striped and it seems my purple damask image is underneath those stripes….I have looked EVERYWHERE to see any reference to the body background and it’s nowhere to be seen.

We can’t really troubleshoot without a link to the site in question. But you might be able to locate the other image yourself by using the developer toolbar to inspect the element – F12 in most browsers.
