    Hi all –

    My issue: the left margin in the site I am designing will NOT behave like the right and leave a space to not touch browser walls.(I haven’t built a site from the ground up in a while – so a little rusty, but learning).

    This is my code for the content container:

    #contentcontainer {
    clear: both;
    float: left;
    margin-left: auto;
    width: 100%;
    display: block;
    background-color: #FFF;
    padding-left: 15px;
    padding-right: 15px;
    padding-bottom: 20px;
    padding-top: 20px;
    margin-right: 5px;
    margin-left: 5px;
    margin-bottom: 20px;
    max-width: 900px;

    I know im doing something wrong obviously but don’t have a human I can ask here at work that has more knowledge than me and I’m not sure the question I should be asking to find the answer. Any help is appreciated.
    Thanks!
    Hunter

    1st – just link directly to the CodePen.

    2nd – You’ll need to put the markup in there as well, just the CSS isn’t the whole thing.

    It should also be pointed out that DW’s rendering engine is terrible.

    Always test the actual output in as many actual browsers as you can.
