    I was hoping that there was some way to make it that you can go to an address without using a port, on MAMP. I am in need of a PHP site to be accessed at the ip, or the host name, without a port hooked on the end of it. Please help! Thanks!

    You need to look into virtual hosts. I personally use VirtualHostX.
