    When I make a word in a line of text into a link, somehow the word ends up as a block level element and of course moves down a line like its been given a line-feed. Using Dreamweaver CS6 but most in code view. Any help greatly appreciated.

    You’d need to show us the code, but most likely you have a CSS rule that tells the page to do this.
