What’s the best way to do this, I once heard that there is a javascript file that automaticaly fixes a lot of the issues… any Ideas. I am currently using a rouned corners js scripts which doesn’t work in ie8 so any fix for that would be nice.

    Many Thanks

I wouldn’t bother using any JS for rounded corners. Just use CSS3 and make sure it degrades nicely in older versions of IE. There are things like:

    http://www.modernizr.com/
    http://code.google.com/p/ie7-js/

You will never be able to get things to look pixel perfect across browsers, though, even across modern browsers.
