I made a “Display Styled Directory Contents” https://css-tricks.com/snippets/php/display-styled-directory-contents/
and I need to make a parent directory button so that techs can maneuver around the folders. any ideas?
I think you need to explain a little more what you mean.
Do mean design a button or how to achieve the functionality?
if you look at the link above you can see what I did. Since i have it set to not show hidden files the “parent directory” doesn’t show up. I need them to be able to click a button and go up a level in the directories. does that make sense?
That sounds like functionality to me.
A `` is just an html element and you insert it in your page wherever you want and style it with CSS like any other element.
I think you need a script to achieve what you are after and that’s outside my area of expertise.
