    So glad I found this great site! You explained HSLa to me this morning.

    Here is my problem at the moment,,,,,,I would love to make my 2 containers side by side with CSS. Im sure other people have had the same question, but I dont know how to search your forum yet. So I hope Im not repeating a question which has already been answered. Thank you, Jane

    There are several ways of doing this.

    Perhaps you could make a Codepen with your HTML.

    Not familiar with a codepen? Im sort of a beginner at this stuff. Though I am reading about it now. I should learn how to use it.

    But I will try with the floats again, and change the sizes of my containers.
    I think that is where my problem lies.

    Solved!
    I had left out clear: both; and that fixed my page.
