Hey guys, I plan on applying to the Y Combinator winter of 2010 class and I’m currently in the process of creating my team. In case you don’t know Y Combinator is a VC firm that provides seed funding predominantly to web startups.
I currently reside in the Metro Detroit area and am thus looking for people near me to and possibly partner up with to apply. My true skills are in front end development ie xHTML, CSS, and Javascript. For server side technologies I prefer Ruby on Rails or PHP. Thus I’m looking for someone with strong server side abilities to compliment my skills.
Ideally if I find a good fit, we would proceed with the application, hopefully be accepted into the program, receive funding, and work our buts off to put forward a world class application.
I have some ideas floating around in my head, I’m sure you may as well so I’ll leave that part open. Right now I’m just interested in meeting like minded individuals. So if that is you please message me or post here.
