Hello everyone,
I am a web designer but I DJ events on the weekend. I had an idea to have a projector showing a live stream on photos from Instagram with a specific #hashtag. For example, if you were at a wedding you could take a picture at the wedding with a #hashtag that the stream is searching for and it will project that image on the large screen as soon as it is uploaded to Instagram.
I know there are some website that will do this, such as http://instastrm.com/site but I do not want to rely on a third party website. Can anyone recommend a strategy to tackle a project like this? Any kind of suggestion is much appreciated.

Thank you so much for the info. The PHP is a little over my head but I’ll keep at it an hopefully have something that works soon. Thanks again AlenAbdula.
That’s a fantastic idea. I was at a conference recently where they did that for Twitter, it was actually really cool. Good luck!
We have actually launched this fairly recently – [eventstagr.am](http://eventstagr.am “eventstagr.am”) and would be happy to have a chat with you if you would like dan [at] eventstagr.am
Chris – take a look at http://www.spontly.com – this is a phone app and a website widget that can be used to stream photos live to your website. This can be used to display images very easily on a large screen…
give me a shout if you need any more info…
