    Greetings,

I am a HTML/CSS rookie and I ve been facing some difficulties on the following issue.
I am designing a website with a pretty simple structure, such as:
    a header with a title,
a main body, consisted of a menu list on the left and an space on the right for a big image,
a little space for a referral badge underneath,
and lastly a footer underneath the badge too.

Now what I want to do is every time I click on one of the list’s items, a little box with some appropriate text to show over
my image. (I have this almost figured out)
However when I click on one specific list item, I would like the image to disappear completely and show something else (photo thumbnails) on that very space.

Is it possible to achieve that with css or I need some sort of a script?

I am trying to put it as simple as I can, I am sorry if I confused you.

    Thanks,
    Mike
