You’ve never experienced any audio/video problems or disabilities on linux?

This was an issue before, not at all anymore.

What do you want Linux for? If it’s for web development I’d recommend Vagrant.

I use Vagrant myself. But Windows has limitations with node modules and file paths/names being too long. Linux and Mac do not have this issue.

Never. I’ve been using Linux for 5 years exclusively and I’ve never had an audio/video problem. One of the only things that happens to me is my DE theme glitches out because I haven’t updated it frequently enough. That’s my fault though. Other than that, I experience MINOR symlink issues when I update something like Ruby or Python. Again, not a big deal. Takes about 5 minutes to fix.

I personally think that the development experience is unparalleled on Linux. I’ve written code on Windows, Mac and Linux. Again, just my opinion.

Oh and Arch isn’t for everyone… just most people :p

I know. It’s like a fake, movie interface. The person put the entire codebase on Github for those interested:

    https://github.com/seenaburns/dex-ui

It’s basically BSPWM (Binary Space Partitioning Window Manager) tweaked out to shit.
