    My nav-sub menu was showing up behind the gallery on my home page, so I gave it a z-index of 100 (same as the main nav bar) and gave the entry a z-index of -1. This worked to make my sub-nav visible, but now all the other links on the page do not work.

    Is there a way to make the gallery shortcode a position:relative with the z-index of -1 and not have the whole entry be -1? Do I set this up as a class?

    Or is there a better way of fixing my problem?

    I’m good at copying and pasting code, not so good at writing it, so any specific help will be greatly appreciated! is the page with the most problems.

    .entry {
    margin-bottom: 10px;
    margin-bottom: 1rem;
    padding: 10px 10px 14px;
    padding: 1rem 1rem 1.4rem;
    position: relative;
    /* z-index: -1; */ <=== remove this

    I made a class for the gallery that was position:relative and z-index=-1, that worked, my links are now all visible and linking, and the sub-nav menu floats over the gallery too.
