hi guys, one quick but not easy question.

i’d like to edit LESS files inside the wordpress theme editor for ultra quick changes but wp doesn’t sees the .less extension as readable so i can’t edit it.

Is there – in a dream world, something i can add in functions.php – a way to allow .less files as readable by the editor?

    thank you in advance

In my personal opinion you shouldn’t be editing LESS files at a server level as you can end up with inconsistencies between what you have locally compared to what’s on the server, I would recommend you always edit the LESS file and compile it locally to avoid anything going wrong.

i have seen that (and thank you, btw) and it’s a pity: i was wishing to use it in a “quick and dirty” way, but – as of now – looks overly time-consuming to be really profitable on a simple projects production basis…
