Leather Shop Website

Hi there. This is my first "submission" here. This is a rough draft of sorts, not a finished product. I’d love to get any and all (constructive) criticism from you guys before I apply any kind of "finished" label on it. Here it is! … index.html

I like to think I have thick skin when it comes to stuff like this, so as long as it is constructive, pour it on!

    very leathery! :D

I would say the one thing that lets your site down is the typography, and the lack of it :)

    I would recommend having a play around…

    Hope that helps :D

Good start… the only thing that doesn’t seem to go is the content section… I’m not sure, the gradient isn’t working for me. I wouldn’t recommend more leathery look, as there is already plenty of that, just something different.

I agree with Rob on the Typography.

I like the roll overs in the header, but the simple white text that shows up right in the middle of the image blocks the color picture and doesn’t fit in. I’d use a nicer font and color, and place the text at the bottom of the picture.

Although the main body font is large, it is a very clean page; definitely not a bad start.
