I’m having trouble coding a layout, can anyone point me in the right direction please?
There are alternating circular images which are half-way over the edge of the white parent div, all on a colour background.
Here’s the design (desktop):

And responsive:

I’ve put my work in progress on codepen:

Thanks in advance!
Negative margins or a transform.
Unfortunately I am on mobile device right now so I can’t put a demo together.
Same here, but here are some other pointers;
try coding your mobile layout first in your stylesheet
apply a basic responsive img technique so that they easily size to their containers http://webdesignerwall.com/tutorials/5-useful-css-tricks-for-responsive-design
Thank you both for the pointers. Negative margins sorted it out and that link to webdesignerwall was helpful. Happy new year!
