    Hi folks,

Just curious what kind of experience people have had with rather large stores. I have a project that is in the works that may include upwards of 20,000 products. The products database itself is pretty big (something like 80,000+ entries).

What kind of system can really handle something like this? I really like the overall feel of WP Commerce, but I’m not sure how well it could handle something like this (and give enough control on the back end). I know Joomla’s virtuemart is powerful enough to handle it, but I’m not a big fan of how some of the checkout processes work.

    Could Magento be the answer?

    Thanks in advance.

Magento is definatly a e commerce script made for larger stores, I recently learned about this script and have been just getting into the theming side of it but it would be my suggestion out of the ones you have mentioned
