Hey, i am trying to use the static api to add an image to my site, and i use it like this
https://maps.googleapis.com/maps/api/staticmap?center=Brooklyn+Bridge,New+York,NY&zoom=13&size=700×400&scale=2&maptype=roadmap&markers=color:blue%7Clabel:S%7C40.702147,-74.015794&markers=color:green%7Clabel:G%7C40.711614,-74.012318&markers=color:red%7Clabel:C%7C40.718217,-73.998284
Which will return an image of 1280×800 [the maximum resolution]. The height is not a problem, but the width is. When accessing from a phone or tablet the image gets crunched. I want to make the excess width dissapear, to crop the image based on the screen size. How do i do that?
EDIT: i have a fixed height, but the width is set to 100%.
