hey guys I just finished this website for a band, to go along with the release of their new dvd, the color scheme is based on that.

I’d love to get some feedback

**I still have to do the menu sprites, and rework the sizes of the images and actually redo two of them.

    here’s the link

    thanks in advance.

I really like the design and illustration, great work!

From a CSS perspective, I think it would be a good idea to use sprites for the rollovers in the menu. Just so they feel a little more "instant" on rollover. Right now there is a little delay. There is a video on doing this here (in case don’t already know):

Something about the web typography isn’t quite right to me either. I think it might be that slight letterspacing that I don’t quite like. Just an opinion though.

I like the design. It’s non-aggressive and light (but not light-weight).

Please tell us when you’ve resized the images and added the sprites. I’m looking forward to it!

hey guys thank you both for the feedback, I really appreciate it.

I should have the sprites up real soon, just a question of getting my hands on the computer. and will definitely resize that top logo….

once again thanks for the feedback

hope all is well with both of you

Looks good! The only problem I see (maybe it’s just me) is that I read the logo as "The Sainte Cat Herines" because of the space between the T and the H
