All the jquery slideshow that I have come across use pixel based dimensions. I’m wondering if it’s possible to use percentages so that the images in the slideshow will scale when the browser window is resized.
I tried converting this tutorial to ems and percentages but had no success

I reached here by searching ‘jquery percentage slideshow’, so I’ll add an update.

It looks like Viljami subsequently created a lightweight responsive content slider/slideshow with jQuery (4k). I ran a test, and it was also working with HTML content. Nicely done.

This script doesn’t come loaded with tons of CSS; I am happy to make that myself anyway. For sites heavy with large images, you’d probably want to add an image loading script.
