Ok, so I am a css/html guy who is trying to get my hands dirty with jquery, but I need some help from the pros. I am working on a site for a client, the test of which can be seen here: http://www.hartsfielddesign.com/exc What I am trying to accomplish is something similar to the magicline navigation chris featured here a while back (https://css-tricks.com/jquery-magicline-navigation) only using an image.

Basically, I want the highlight under the current page in my navigation menu to transition smoothly to the nav element that is hovered over. I may be completely on the wrong track on how to go about this, or it may even be something that is better accomplished using css3. Any help at all from you guys would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Just thought I would bump this once just in case there is anyone out there who has any ideas about how to do this. Thanks for your help!
