jQuery date picker help

First off,
I am a new member here and to be completely honest… I love the site chris!!! but back to why I created this topic, I am currently getting all my content, plugins, and scripts together for a site redesign because my client is insisting on using his inhouse (SLOWWWW) graphic designer for the layout. In the mean time I started playing with jQuery and javascript… I officially know neither, but I have analyzed them and figured out the basic workings of them BUTTTT!!! when I try to limit the date picker to ONLY the specific dates I choose, it still deletes the weekends…

I am aware this is a bit of a tangent so here’s the code I am using.

I want it to show Both Sept and Oct for all the days in the month EXCEPT for the ones defined in the.. array? (sorry im new to javascript) I just cannot figure out how to not remove the weekends :(
