Home › Forums › JavaScript › Javascript/JQuery to do a 360 degree panarama on a stiched image
I have a stiched image designed for a 360 degree panorama view.
Does anybody know of a javascript or JQuery plugin which would allow me to display a 360 degree panorama from that image, in both a horizontal and vertical direction?
I have found several software examples which just to the 360 degree panorama in a horizontal direction (eg “jquery reel”) by moving the mouse left and right, but I also need to scroll up and down (ie the viewport is not only narrower than the total image, but not as high as the total image).
Any such script should preferably be free, but will consider purchase.
Have a look at the following demo which is powered by three.js http://mrdoob.github.com/three.js/examples/webgl_panorama_equirectangular.html
You can find the source for it at https://github.com/mrdoob/three.js/blob/master/examples/webgl_panorama_equirectangular.html
Thanks for the response, and although the examples work very well and are exactly what I would need, they use WebGL which is not supported in the specific browsers for which I need this – IE (for PC users) and Safari (for iPad users).
