    You don’t seem to be sure that it is the javscript. What I would do is remove all of the javscript and see if it works in IE. If it does: add the jquery and see if it works, and then keep adding the scripts (one by one, and checking in IE) until it doesn’t work. That way, you can determine which file is giving the problem and maybe we can help you more from there.

    it may not be javascript. I’ve taken all out on a subpage and it still kicks…

    I’ve narrow the issue down to the menu. If its the java or the css or the html. I am unsure.
