Sorry about the lame title. Can’t think of how to describe my problem.

The background images must be png. I don’t need this fleshed out… just looking for an idea on how to get started.

I did a similar thing at this page: http://chrispaul.ws/impossible-css/. But I don’t think the same technique will work with this one because the top/bottom images are bigger.

I’m looking for some pseudo-code to just get me started. Anybody have any ideas that could get me started?

Well I did a sliding doors technique to solve this: http://chrispaul.ws/sliding-doors/ Although I still need to edit the image a little better.
