    Hello,

    I’d like to read your inputs and takes on this :)

    I’ve been talking to a programmer friend of mine, and we came up with this question:

    Can/Could jQuery be called/considered an “Ajax library”?

    Thanks for your reply.

    We kept discussing, and then the following concept came up: “Then can we consider jQuery to be a subset of Ajax?”, to which I said no.

    jQuery is not based on Ajax, it helps build Ajax functionalities, but they are two separate concepts.

    What do you think about that?
