    This css works and looks great in Chrome and Safari, the alpha won’t work in IE 8 (acceptable), but in Firefox 11 the image fades up fine, but turns black just before finishing the fade out, and the span doesn’t fade smoothly in or out.

    Is it firefox or something about my css?

    Works fine for me. Firefox 11, Windows 7.
    Also works fine in Chrome 18

    Also updated to Firefox 12, and worked fine too.
