    Hey guys,

I have been breaking my head over this all week. Can anyone help?

I found this site with some really nice buttons, I wanted to replicate them so I looked at the source code and copied.
I pasted it on Dreamweaver and downloaded all the css, php and many more files and linked them.

Everything was going smooth until I changed the after that the buttons did not function correctly.
If anyone wants to give it a shot here is the site: http://www.theharrisgroupmm.com

I am exhausted, has anyone ever done this?

I don’t see any buttons on the website?

Also, be careful here… There’s no such thing as a ‘legal reverse engineer’ in terms of web design. There’s a fine line between inspiration and copyright infringement.

I meant to say the “menu” I was trying to duplicate the menu from http://www.theharrisgroupmm.com I thought the menu where buttons, sorry about the confusion.

I didn’t realize it code could be copyrighted, I thought copyright was images and works of art… Thanks guys, I could have gotten in a lot of trouble!

“Code” doesn’t necessarily carry a copyright, but a “design” certainly does. Just make sure to make the menu yours by the end of your process.
