nice community here just found it today while trying to implement the start/stop slider. Im working with wordpress on a local host. Heres what i’ve done so far,

first I added the scripts using bloginfo(‘stylesheet_directory’)/js/javascript.js

it didn’t work, I know the files were in place because I checked the source and everything was there.

Im getting concerned that there is some sort of php/jquery conflict going on,

I would love to hear anyones feedback on this, a possible solution might be using the wp_enqueue_script but I’ve only read about this and don’t really want to chase my tail if it’s not going to work.

Can anyone weigh in on this, any advice is appreciated. Sorry I can’t provide a link to this as its on my local machine.

I had a problem on my wordpress where the template itselff called and old version of jquery and the slider called the new version of jquery.
I disabled the old version of jquery and then it loaded!

    hope this solves your problem
