    The client sent me a photo of his Droid phone because the Zerve images are taking over the layout.

    Here is a link to my server to see the screen shot.
    I know it’s hard to see but it’s the white looking bar across the top and along the side.

    That site is not intended to be viewed on a phone that’s for sure…..unless there are some media queries not kicking in or they just don’t affect enough.

    The widths I’m seeing suggest a 1000px width.

    If it’s an iPhone 5, that makes sense that 1000px width would fit because the 1136px pixel width of the iPhone’s screen. However, it’s not going to be any sort of “temporary fix” to get it to fit on a device that has lesser pixel width. Not only that, it’s probably not readable on the iPhone 5 zoomed out anyway. A fluid-width layout would be the bare minimum here but would probably be out of the scope it sounds like you’re looking through.
