    Hello!

I am using Cargo Collective. Here is a link to my site: http://cargocollective.com/ginanero/

My mind is boggled! I cannot figure out why my images are not displaying their entirety? They are cutting off on the bottom (thumbnail gallery view is fine).

Also, when I return back to the home page “gn” the image tends to move around and I’d like it to stay in the same position and same size as it’s originally displayed.

    Here is CodePen link: http://codepen.io/anon/pen/qaLopv

Any assistance would be so appreciated!

    Thank you :)

    Gina

Try to create a reduced demo that demonstrates the problem (use placeholder images if necessary). Unfortunately, folks won’t want to work through a ~2000 line stylesheet, and some won’t necessarily have access to the developer console (those of us not at a desktop).

Not entirely sure what you mean – I’m not a wiz with code. What is a reduced demo? I have no idea what the problem is so I don’t know which portion of the code to show to anyone. Thank you for responding!

    Image cut off issue:

This is what the home page looks like on entering the site. I want it to stay like this:

This is what the home page looks like after browsing around the site – it changes sizes and positions:

    What is a reduced demo?

That would be “a demo that contains just enough code to demonstrate the problem”.

Oftentimes, through the exercise of working through the code to narrow down the problem (adding a bit of CSS here, taking it away there) you will identify the problem yourself. Unfortunately, if you’re unable to do this, you’re relying on the time and good nature of other developers to take on that (often time consuming) task for you. Knowing that this effort awaits will put many a potential-helper off, whereas a reduced demo is much quicker and easier for us to digest and troubleshoot (on more devices), hence, faster, and more probable response. That’s not to say that nobody will help you on this occasion – there’s just a lower likelihood of getting free help, fast, due to the elevated effort and task duration.

If I could figure out which code is messing it all up I would definitely just post that portion of the code (and would be able to potentially figure it out myself!) but I am out of my depth which is why I am here.
