Image pushed down on mobiles

I’ve added images behind the widget background however i get this white background on smaller screens.

I’ve tried changing position: static; to position: absolute which fixes the problem but when i do that, the mobile toggle menu displays over the image when clicked and doesn’t push it down like the default.

The image needs to display behind the menu in the header on all screen sizes.
