hi,
I have a big text on my design, and i’m using a custom font for that text ONLY.
What approach is better?
1. use an image (illustrator or photoshop?)
or
2. upload the font at Fontsquirrel’s @font-face generator and use @font-face?
so what do you think?
thanks..
well it’s not actually a logo..
it’s something like like this
font size will be about 50px..
oh, is it a logo..thanks anyway..
much appreciated..
now i can go on..
oh i forgot, i’m planning to use it on a responsive design(fluid), so should i use illustrator(vector??) or PS will be just fine?
I would always use Illustrator for logo’s but if you can easily create it with CSS, use CSS.
Always go for css if you can (SEO)
First, I tried it using CSS, but was not happy with the result. I think the font is crappy, does not look good on big font sizes.
So, I think I will go with the image, to save some http requests and use @Chriscoyier’s image replacement technique.
Thanks guys for the replies..thank you thank you..
