IE7 & IE8 problem

  • # January 4, 2013 at 3:20 pm

Okay this is the website in question:

At the moment it looks better in IE7 but the gradient fallback fails for the header. In IE8, the

section seems to be completely ignored.

You can see the two problems here:

Any ideas how to solve this or what is causing it happen? Thanks

Are you using HTML5 elements such as header? If so are you using a shiv/shim for them?

For your fallback, is it a solid colour or picture?

Ahh there must have been a typo with the html5shiv link as I replaced it and it now works. Thanks

No worries, just the first thing that popped into my head.
