I am trying to make this website: aaronscomputerexperts.com look normal in all versions of IE and am have having problems with IE6. The top nav menu turns vertical and I can’t figure out why. I’ve had no problems with the menu in IE7. Any suggestions?

Try giving the <li>s a width and height.

OK. Easy enough. Seems to work although they aren’t evenly spaced.
Since I have been using Adobe browserlabs to check out the layout in IE6, I can’t check to make sure the li widths didn’t mess up the drop down menu that I have. Is that going to be a problem?

    Got it spaced evenly.
Can anyone out there check out the drop down menu to make sure it works ok in IE6?
    Thanks

Yeah it works ok in IE6. The hover state on the second level

  • ‘s are a bit weird and so is the background (it looks like you’re using a .png fix on a background image – this would be the problem). The website and dropdown menu is functional in IE6.
